Pecan Upside Down Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and honey. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour this mixture into the bottom of the prepared bundt pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
  5. Pour batter over the pecan mixture in the bundt pan.
  6. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out
