Step 4: Preparing the Filling

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. In a bowl, melt the butter, add breadcrumbs (crushed graham crackers) then add sugar. Mix well. Set aside.

Step 5: Shaping the Bread

After the dough has risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 2 parts, with 8 pieces (16 equal pieces total). Roll or press each piece of dough into a long triangle with the wide end toward you (roll fairly thin and about 6 ½” to 7″ long, kind of the shape of a pizza slice).

Step 6: Adding Filling and Rolling

With each triangle slice, spread 1 tbsp filling on the triangle, leaving about 1 cm. around the edges so it won’t melt out while baking. Roll the dough fairly loosely, starting from the wide end.

Step 7: Crumb Coating

Roll the dough from side to side in the bread crumb mixture.
