  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a panettone. You can use a special panettone mold or simply shape it into a round and place it in a cake pan.
  3. Let the dough rest again for 30 minutes.
  4. Paint the surface of the panettone with egg yolk to give it a golden color.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  6. Let cool before cutting and serving. Enjoy your homemade panettone!
