Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to a cozy 375°F. This dish loves a warm welcome!

2. Deck out a baking sheet or a classic 9×5 inch loaf pan with some shiny aluminum foil. Give it a light spritz with non-stick spray. It’s like sunbathing lotion for your pan, but tastier!

3. Now, let’s get our hands dirty! In a roomy bowl, blend together the turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix with love but don’t overdo it; we want our meat tender and caring, just like our favorite aunt.

4. Shape this beautiful meaty concoction into a loaf form on your prepared tray. Remember, it doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s the inside (flavor) that counts!

5. In a petite bowl, whisk together the ketchup (or BBQ sauce) and brown sugar. Pour this glitzy sauce all over your meatloaf. Feeling fancy? Sprinkle some pepper on top for that extra zing!

6. Let your meatloaf sunbathe in the oven for about 45 to 55 minutes. We’re looking for an inner beauty of 160°F.

7. Once out of the oven, let our star dish rest for about 5-10 minutes. This is its “me-time”. Afterwards, slice into 8-10 delicious portions.
