Freezing Plums: The Right Way
So, looking to extend the joy brought by these little purple wonders? Fear not, it’s child’s play.

First and foremost, pick smooth, perfectly shaped plums without any blemishes or holes. Only the prettiest fruits for this task! Give them a quick rinse and dry them gently with a clean cloth. Lay them out nicely on a baking tray, ensuring they aren’t touching. And don’t forget the baking paper beneath to prevent sticking. Then, it’s their all-nighter – a night in the freezer and voila! The next day, they’re ready to be bagged. Make sure you squeeze out all the air, then back into the freezer they go.
Shelf life? While we’d love them to last forever, they’ll keep well in the freezer for a good 10-12 months. That’s a lot better than just 2-3 days at room temperature, right?
