Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 3 equal portions. Shape each portion into a long baguette and place them on a greased baking sheet. Cover the baguettes with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Using a sharp knife, make 3-4 diagonal slashes along the top of each baguette. This will allow the bread to expand in the oven.
