Indulgent Brioche with Concentrated Milk

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine the flour and salt.

Next, create a well in the center of the flour mixture and add in the milk, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and yeast. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it begins to come together.

Then, add in the softened butter in pieces and knead for a good ten minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or silicone lid and allow the dough to double in size in a warm place.

Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down on a lightly floured surface and divide it into equal pieces.

Shape each piece into smooth balls and place them in a greased pan, if necessary. Let the dough rise again for about 1 hour.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) with the fan on.

Brush the brioche with a whisked egg white (or a yolk mixed with 1 tbsp of water) and sprinkle with sugar grains.

Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow the brioche to cool slightly, then transfer it to a wire rack.
