Roll out the chilled dough and spread the pastry cream over the surface. Sprinkle chocolate chips all over the pastry cream. Fold the dough in half and cut it into portions. Place them on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for 1 hour. Then brush the pastries with an egg wash (1 egg mixed with 2 tbsp of milk) and preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
