Add the sugar and continue mixing.

Next, sift in the flour and add the salt, stirring to combine with the liquid. Knead with your hands, adding the tablespoons of oil.

Once kneaded, leave the dough in the bowl, slightly oiled on the surface to prevent hardening. Cover with film and a cloth for two hours, allowing the dough to rise.

After rising, place the dough on a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly and divide into six parts, shaping each into a ball.

Cover the balls for ten minutes to rest. Then, knead and stretch them with a rolling pin on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thickness and 20 cm in diameter.

Heat a 24 cm frying pan over medium heat. Add a few drops of oil, and then the dough. Stretch it slightly with your fingers. Cook for half a minute, then flip. Once bubbles start to form, flip again, reducing the heat. Flip one last time and remove to a serving dish.

Continue with the remaining portions, keeping them covered with a cloth.

Make a dressing by combining 4 tablespoons of oil with chopped dry pepper and parsley. Brush each bread piece with this mixture and sprinkle with coarse salt. Serve warm as a perfect accompaniment to your meal.
