Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove it from the heat and stir in 1 cup of sugar until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add this dry mixture to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix well.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- Carefully drop dollops of peanut butter on top of the brownie batter, and then sprinkle the chocolate chips over it.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter and chocolate chip layer.
- Use a knife or a skewer to create swirls in the batter, mixing the peanut butter and chocolate chips into the brownie layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a while before cutting them into squares.
