“The saddest dog in the world” loses his home again and could be put to sleep if no one adopts him soon

Lana, the dog who became infamous in 2015 after a photo of her in her kennel went around the world, is now in a critical situation. Nicknamed “the saddest dog in the world”, Lana risks euthanasia if she does not quickly find an adoptive family.

In 2015, Lana was adopted and returned to the shelter shortly after. His owners at the time had mentioned behavioral problems, in particular a certain aggressiveness towards the mother of the family. Lana's past as a runt of her litter could explain her protective attitude towards her food.

Despite this first setback, Lana had found a new family, giving hope for a new start. Unfortunately, she was recently brought back to the shelter, her adopters struggling to deal with her behavioral peculiarities.
