1. Start by warming up the grape seed oil in a small saucepan.

2. While it’s heating, peel and slice the onions into rings. Now, here’s a fun little trick for crispy onion rings: coat them in flour before frying. Toss those floured onion slices into the hot oil and fry them for about 4 minutes.
3. Now, for our hot dog buns! Slice them lengthwise, but be careful not to slice them all the way through. Give them a slight toast in the oven to make them perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

4. While the buns are toasting, it’s time for our sausages. Heat up a pot of water and let the sausages swim in there for about 5 minutes. Keep the water just below boiling – we’re talking gentle little bubbles.
