3. Get that oven roaring to a fiery 392°F (around 200°C). While it’s heating up, roll out your puff pastries. Here’s where the fun begins: cut them into a pumpkin shape – and don’t forget that cute little stem at the top!

4. Lay one of the pastry sheets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Now, spread your pumpkin mixture over it, but be careful – leave about a 0.8 inch (around 2cm) border around the edges. As for your second pastry, it’s time to get creative! Carve out a spooky pumpkin face. Wicked or friendly, it’s up to you!

5. Wet the edges of the bottom pastry with a tad bit of water and place your carved pumpkin face on top. Lastly, crack open that egg, give it a whirl and brush it over your pie for that golden finish we all adore.
