1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is softened and the beef is no longer pink.
2. Season the beef mixture with salt and add the chopped potatoes, beef broth, condensed tomato soup, diced tomatoes, and frozen mixed vegetables. Stir well to combine.
3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, and dried basil. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover. Let the soup simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
