Mix together the flour, baking powder, and sugars. Then, rub in the margarine. Make a hole in the middle of the mixture and add the golden syrup. Mix well and form small round balls to bake.

Red Velvet Biscuits:
– 2 cups coconut
– 2 and 1/2 cups flour
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 250g margarine
– 2 tsp vanilla or caramel essence
– 2-4 Tablespoons crimson pink food coloring

Method:
Mix the margarine and sugar together, then add the essence and food coloring. Add the flour and coconut, and rub in the butter. Roll out the dough and use a fork to make a pattern. Cut with a round cutter and bake.

Lemon Creams:
– 5 cups flour
– 500g margarine
– 1 cup icing sugar
– 2 tsp lemon essence

Method:
Melt the margarine and add icing sugar, mix well, add lemon essence, and give it a good mix. Add flour one cup at a time until it’s soft. Roll out the dough and cut into squares. When done, sandwich them with buttercream.
