Ghastly Ghost Meringues: A Spooky Halloween Treat!

Summoning the Ghosts (aka, The Method):

1. Begin by preheating your oven to 100°C (212°F).
2. Whip up those egg whites until they get all frothy and bubbly. As they rise from the abyss, gradually fold in the sugars. Keep going until you have a shiny, ghostly meringue mixture in front of you.
3. Now, arm yourself with a piping bag fitted with a smooth nozzle. Fill it up with the meringue and start shaping your future phantoms on a baking paper. Want to give your specters some extra flair? Feel free to add some “ruffles” as you pipe them out.
4. Pop them into the oven for a minimum of 1h30. Peek in occasionally to check their texture. If they need more haunting time, let them bake a bit longer. Once done, let these souls cool down.
