  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
  3. Press half of the Rice Krispie mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish to form the bottom layer.
  4. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the melted caramel over the bottom layer of Rice Krispie treats, spreading it evenly.
  6. Gently warm the peanut butter in the microwave until it becomes smooth and pourable. Drizzle the peanut butter over the caramel layer.
