Delicious and Moist Banana Cake Recipe

  1. In a bowl, put the chopped bananas. Crush them with a fork until you get a kind of puree. Set this puree aside as it will be the base of our banana cake.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk until they double in size. Then add the vanilla extract, sugar, milk, a pinch of salt, and melted butter. Beat again until all the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder over the egg mixture. Mix everything together until well integrated. Then add the reserved banana puree and mix until fully combined.
  4. Grease a baking pan with butter, and pour the batter into it. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 190ºC, and bake for about 40 minutes.
  5. To check if the cake is done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, it’s ready. If not, bake for a few more minutes. Once fully cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for about an hour to set.
