Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Then, follow the steps below:
- Clean the endives and cut them into thin strips. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Dice the bacon.
- In a large skillet, melt some margarine over medium heat. Add the endives and cook until they are golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced bacon and cook until crispy. Then, add the soy sauce and stir well. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Place a layer of potatoes in the bottom of a baking dish. Add a layer of endives and bacon on top. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Pour the optional white wine over the layers. If using, add the sour cream on top.
