No-Bake Apple Tart

Start by melting the butter in a saucepan over low heat. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, sugar, flour, eggs, and baking powder until smooth. Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir until well combined.

Peel and core the apple, then slice it thinly. Arrange the apple slices on the bottom of a cake pan, then pour the batter over the top. Sprinkle the cassonade over the batter.

Refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours, or until set. Once chilled, slice and serve, and enjoy!
