For the dough:
– 750g of all purpose flour
– 250g margarine
– 3 eggs (1 for brushing)
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 1/4 cup cold table water (60ml)
For the filling:
– 350g ground beef
– 1 large potato (peeled & diced into cubes)
– 1 large carrot (peeled & diced into cubes)
– 1 large onion (chopped)
– 1 cup water (250ml) or beef broth
– Salt to taste
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon thyme
– Seasoning cube
