First, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, making sure to break it up as it cooks. Once it’s browned and the size of small peas, which should take about 5 to 7 minutes, add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir gently and remove the mixture from the skillet.

Next, melt the butter in the skillet and add the chopped onion and green bell pepper. Cook and stir until they are golden, about 5 to 7 minutes. Then, add the beef mixture back to the skillet and mix everything together. Allow the filling to cool while we prepare the egg roll wrappers.
Lay the egg roll wrappers flat and place half a slice of American cheese on each one. Add 3 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each wrapper. Fold the bottom left corner over the filling and then fold in the sides, moistening the edges with water as you go, and roll tightly.
