Part 2: Cooking
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Stuff the capon and sew it shut.
3. Oil the capon and place it in a dish, then add thin slices of butter on top.
4. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour, basting regularly and re-covering with foil each time.
5. After an hour, remove the foil and brown the capon on all sides, turning and basting every 15 minutes for another hour… That’s a total of 2 hours.
6. Check that the capon is thoroughly cooked, and serve immediately with bundles of green beans and some stuffing for each person. Enjoy!
